In
Double K Properties, LLC v. Aaron Rents, Inc., Judge Jones refused to award contractual attorneys' fees at the claimed rate of $550 per hour for counsel from Atlanta, choosing instead to limit the hourly rate to $210 per hour, the amount charged by local counsel from Roanoke. Judge Jones cited his own opinion in
the Wynn case, in which he had concluded that a rate of $200 per hour was sufficient for "run-of-the-mine" litigation in Big Stone Gap.
