John Lamie's case argued before U.S. Supreme Court on Monday
Earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in the appeal brought on behalf of Abingdon bankruptcy attorney John Lamie. The lawyers representing him had this summary of the case on their excellent blog. The case has to do with attorneys' fees for lawyers representing debtors in Chapter 7, and the failure of Congress to fix a "scrivener's error" in the Bankruptcy Code.
