As pointed out in this Roanoke.com column on the success of "Law & Order," actor Jesse L. Martin is from Rocky Mount, Virginia, and not "Rocky Mountain" as shown on the program's official website.
According to the town's website, "[t]he Town of Rocky Mount, set in the beautiful rolling hills of the western Blue Ridge Mountains, has been the seat of Franklin County since its formation in 1786."
I'm a Law & Order fan, but it has not been the same for me since the departures of characters Claire Kincaid and Adam Schiff.
