$1.5 million awarded in medical malpractice case in Richmond

A jury in the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond awarded $1.5 million in a medical malpractice case involving the death of a 19 year-old man, where the issue was the defendant doctor's failure to give proper treatment to keep the young man breathing during a severe asthma attack.
